Hello, my name is Melody. I'm primarily an equestrian photographer and overall animal addict! I'm 20, based in Essex and currently in my final year of a BA Hons degree in Photography. I photograph around the South East, England, capturing the bond between humans and their animals. I also cover all types of equestrian events from Dressage to Carriage Driving Trials.

I have been fortunate to be in a family that has always been horse and dog orientated. From the word go I was sat on a cheeky Shetland mare and my journey with horses began. This has given me vital skills and knowledge that I am able to bring with me to photo shoots. Clients can be assured I have 'horse sense' and know how to get the best out of their horses, keeping each photo shoot personal and relaxed.

 

Equestrian photography is my speciality however, during my studies at university I have opened up myself to the studio environment. I have photographed dogs and human portraits in the studio. I enjoy photographing in the controlled, warm environment of the indoors but I will always favour the outside and using the natural light and settings around me.
